It actually does say that on his website: “good governance through increased transparency”. The trouble with political buzzwords is that unless one has some specific details with which to define them, they are very easy to misinterpret. Or mock, as the case may be.
Yeah, I know the boobs thing is kind of stretch, but I’ll be damned if I know what kind of change this thoroughly-conventional trapo is talking about. Maybe he means the change that will be possible once the country stops dumping resources into unnecessary educational concepts, like literacy or knowing how to add.
Taking a cue from his comical running mate, Erap has also decided to branch out into infotainment. I’ll give him a little credit, though, for having grown philosophically during his years out of office; this might seem like a slightly amateurish first attempt, but at least it means he’s not exclusively taking policy cues from this guy.

Rather than update his platform…err, think of one in the first place, Ignoy has just decided to eliminate that whole pesky idea from his new website.
In a way, though, he is displaying that vaunted “honesty” that his utak ng tilapia supporters are constantly crowing about, by being ‘honest’ enough to admit he doesn’t have a frickin’ clue, and just dropping all pretense of conceptualizing and planning. So….hooray?
Good grief, this country is in big trouble.
Ordinarily I go easy on Ate Glo because contrary to what many people believe she isn’t actually too bad at her job. But once in a while, she’ll float a canard so ridiculous I just can’t let it pass – once a Pinoy politician, always a Pinoy politician, I guess.

Loren, honey, those jeans are telling you to get to the gym once in a while. Wait, what? Oh, right. Erap’s not wearing pants. Eww. Still, why doesn’t that seem surprising?
In all seriousness, Noynoy Aquino is a scion of the elitest of the elite in this country. There’s nothing inherently wrong with that, but hard questions need to be asked about whose interests he really intends to serve, and how he plans to do that. Having “integrity” and “because my Mom died” are hardly good enough.
