It actually does say that on his website: “good governance through increased transparency”. The trouble with political buzzwords is that unless one has some specific details with which to define them, they are very easy to misinterpret. Or mock, as the case may be.

In all seriousness, Noynoy Aquino is a scion of the elitest of the elite in this country. There’s nothing inherently wrong with that, but hard questions need to be asked about whose interests he really intends to serve, and how he plans to do that. Having “integrity” and “because my Mom died” are hardly good enough.

Well, yeah, I suppose if we don’t lay off Noynoy and stop demanding that he account for himself as a legitimate prospect for national leadership, somebody might find out he’s really an Imperialist Chinese Tool.
Tropical Storm (ex-Typhoon) Pepeng has made landfall again in Ilocos, so maybe he can give himself a break and attend another party.

I like fish!
He doesn’t do much besides eat, sleep, shit, and lick his balls, but at the level of sophistication required to conduct a presidential campaign in the Philippines, he’s eminently qualified. Blanco announced his candidacy way back in July at The Bad Manners Gun Club, and since then sort of weaseled his way into being the unofficial mascot of Get Real’s Platform, Plez initiative. Actually, that’s a lot more public service than most other public servants can honestly lay claim to providing.
